"Showing here!"

"The porter" is the general name of the characters presenting the auction items - the Hannibal poster, the three human skulls, the monkey musical box and the chandelier - in the Prologue. They wear a black uniform with metallic trims - most are golden, some silver - and buttons. Accessories includes a leather apron, leather sleeves, a top hat with decorations, as well as black shoes. The leather apron and sleeves underlines his profession as a man of the working class. In the show, these roles are usually played by the male dancers.

The design sketch has a detail designer Maria Bjørnson often added to her Phantom sketches: the face is another photo pasted into the design. This was often done as a pun, or as a homage to someone. I have alas not been able to identify whose face is used here.
