THE INNKEEPER

Shown here is two different, though not wildly different, costumes. The first is the Innkeeper (costume design), the second one is a version worn without the apron, and with a slightly different, taller hat. Both wears a doublet with paned or slashed sleeves. One wears it under a coarse beige apron with a big, black pocket, the other wears a fabric belt with tasseled ends. Breeches and tights are also worn by both, along with black shoes. On the head one wears a wide brimmed, round hat, while the other wears a taller hat.

In the mock opera "Don Juan Triumphant", in the show written by the Phantom, Carlotta's role is traditionall listed as "Innkeeper's wife".
